Morning Care - 7:00am to 7:30am

Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grades
Arrival/Breakfast - 7:30am to 7:45am
School Day - 7:45am to 3:00pm
Dismissal - 3:00pm to 3:10pm

4th through 5th Grades
Arrival/Breakfast - 7:30am to 7:45am
School Day - 8:00am to 3:15pm
Dismissal - 3:15pm to 3:25pm

6th through 10th Grades
Arrival/Breakfast - 7:45am to 8:00am
School Day - 8:10am to 3:30pm
Dismissal - 3:30pm to 3:40pm

After-School Enrichment Program - 3:00pm to 5:30pm

Odyssey Students Compete in Future Cities Contest

Roman Salinas and "Future City" Model

On January 23, 2010 Odyssey Academy competed in the Regional Future Cities competition at San Jacinto College. At this contest 7th grader, Roman Salinas, presented the group's effort and received a special award for Best Space Based design. The students work in a design class to come up with a model based on a city they create using the program, SimCity.

The Honorable Mr. Robert A. Mosbacher, Odyssey Academy’s founder and board president for ten years, passed away Sunday morning. He has had a large influence in the lives of many students and families of Galveston. Our students are high achievers with big dreams. Odyssey Academy provides them a community environment with strong academic and moral standards; this is how Mr. Mosbacher designed and made sure the school provided these needs.

Odyssey Academy Spelling Bee

Last week Odyssey Academy held their annual spelling bee to find a school wide winner to advance on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee Regional Tournament. This tournament will be held February 24th at Houston PBS at the Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting, University of Houston, 4343 Elgin, Houston, Texas 77004 at 2:00 p.m.
