Odyssey Academy's Barnes & Noble Book Night

Odyssey Academy held its first Barnes and Noble bookfair on Thursday, May 20, at the Bay Brook Barnes & Noble on Bay Area Blvd. It was a great success! There was much participation from both students, parents, and staff:

• The school Spirit Team kicked off the evening with cheers and dances
• Six of Ms. Pena’s kindergarten students performed a delightful Cinco de Mayo dance
• Students from Ms. Luna’s first grade class performed a reader’s theater about animals
• Theater Arts students under the direction of Mr. Greineisen paid tribute to the poet, Shel Silverstein

Barnes and Noble will donate a portion of what Odyssey shoppers spent to Odyssey Academy for books to go in the new library that will be opening this fall. Thanks for everyone who came out and supported the event!
